In Spring, 2024, my English 579 class collectively mapped Frankenstein via Googe Earth, In groups, they were assigned sections of the novel and each individually abstracted geographical data of places and movements. Then they compared notes and made up a list of places with relevant quotes and images. The whole came together to make the map tours. Follow the journeys of Victor Frankenstein, the Creature, Walton, and Felix De Lacey in Mary Shelley’s novel.
